Gurdwara Darbar Sahib was a gift from Pakistan to the Sikh community around the world, who comes and visits their holy places. Sikh pilgrims from India will visit daily after the inauguration of this corridor by our Prime Minister Khan. Kartarpur project will also help bring both countries closer and we hope that this will remove the cold war between both countries in the near future.

Gurmeet Singh said on the behalf of the whole Sikh community that the Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s decision to open the Kartarpur Corridor for Sikhs will be remembered for a long period of time. He further added that we all are very happy to be here in Pakistan to attend the Guru Nankana Sahib 550th Birthday anniversary.

Mandatory Steps from Government

Pakistan’s government has decided to make it mandatory for the tour operators to have NOC to take foreign Sikhs other than Indians to their holy places especially Kartarpur Nankana Sahib.

The Sikhs coming from Canada, the US and the European countries have also been issued a visit visa for Lahore. There is security some of the problems with their uncoordinated visits to their holy places. That is why the tour operators have been asked to take NOC to foreign Sikhs for traveling in Pakistan.
